By-Election
Scott Thomson resigned his position as Councillor on August 28, 2023. The Nomination period for the By-Electon is August 29, 2023 - 12:00 p.m. Noon on October 10, 2023.
By-Election day is Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Town Office, 120 - 4th Street North from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The next Municipal Election takes place on October 20, 2025.
Nomination packages can be picked up at Town Office or found here. Signed documents must be dropped off in person at Town Office, 120 - 4th Street North by noon on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
Who Can Vote?
You must be 18 years of age, a Canadian Citizen and be a resident of Alberta on Election Day. Your place of residence must be in the Town of Picture Butte on Election Day in order to vote.
