Mayor
Cathy was born and raised in Stoney Creek Ontario and made her move to Southern Alberta in 1978. She married her husband Richard in 1986 and together they had two children and three grandchildren. Cathy was first elected as councillor to the Town of Picture Butte in 2013 and four years later, was elected Mayor. She looks forward to serving residents of her community for the next four years and striving to make Picture Butte picture perfect.
Deputy Mayor
Cynthia was raised in the Sundial area, graduated From Picture Butte High and went to College in Lethbridge. Cynthia & her husband of 49 years are very active volunteers in our community. They have been blessed with 3 children and 2 grandsons. Retired from a career with Scotiabank, Cynthia is pleased to have the time to serve our community and its residents for a second term.
Councillor
Henry was born in Picture Butte and raised in the surrounding area with strong values and a good work ethic. He has been married for 15 years to Leanne and they have three children: Corianne who is 14, Siobhan who is 5 and Cameron who is 2.
Henry has lived in Picture Butte since 2002 and has build several homes, as well as started a business in town together with Leanne. Henry is a Journeyman Carpenter by trade with nearly 20 years of experience, and is currently employed with a local contractor for the same period of time.
Henry has also been a member of the Picture Butte and District Emergency Services as a volunteer firefighter/PCP for the past 14 years.
Councillor
Teresa and David Feist have been residents of Picture Butte since 1982, raising four beautiful children and now having been blessed with six beautiful grandchildren. Teresa has been on Town Council since 2013, finding it both rewarding and challenging all at the same time. She would like to emphasize listening and working as a team is the best way to solve the issues brought forward. Teresa finds it an honour to serve the residents of Picture Butte and encourages all residents to keep coming forward with their ideas and concerns as this shows how we all want to keep Picture Butte the amazing town that it is. Teresa looks forward to the next four years.
Councillor
Crystal was born and raised in Lethbridge Alberta and became a resident of Picture Butte in 2013. She is a wife, mother, and a small business owner. Currently, she is an active member of the Picture Butte Municipal Library and Dorothy Dalgliesh School Council. Crystal attended Lethbridge College and received diplomas in Fashion Design and Marketing and Management in the Business Administration program. Previously, Crystal was an instructor at the Lethbridge College, teaching management and marketing courses. She is excited to serve the residents of Picture Butte and looking forward to working with the current Council.
