Local Transportation

Picture Butte & District Transportation Society
Purpose
To provide safe, courteous, timely and cost-effective transportation service to the residents of the Town of Picture Butte and District.

Priority will be given to trips requiring a visit to a health-care professional.

Trips for shopping, entertainment and cultural events will be accommodated whenever possible.

 

Bookings
Appointments and trips must be booked through Piyami Health Centre - Central Dispatch at (403) 732-4762 during the normal office hours between 8:00 am and

4:00 pm. 

Booking at least one day or more in advance would be appreciated.

When booking a trip, please be prepared to provide the following:

• Date and time of appointment (dispatcher will advise of expected pick-up time)
• Number of riders (in case the principle rider is being escorted)
• Address where the rider(s) are to be picked up.
• Destination address.
• Duration of stay at destination.
• Special requirements (i.e. rider may be in a wheelchair)
• Requests for special drivers will be accommodated when possible.
